 Chapter XIII 

        In this chapter, the bishop has shown again how kind he is towards everyone around him. How he so kind he wouldn't hurt a fly. We're also told some of the Bishops hobbies like meditation and his little garden.

Chapter VI      Now we know the backstory of  Jean Valjean. Its very sad. Like the man lost is wife, children, and parents. He only had his sister till he got married. He then lost them too. Expect the smallest he didn't lose but probably got abused. He literally got sent to prison for 5 years just for stealing bread. Bread. That's just messed up. That's probably why he has a rude attitude.

 Chapter IV      In this chapter, we kept reading were we left off. The Bishop gave the man food and a place to rest for the night. He said we could go to the country side, since the Bishop has friends there. To leave at morning because a night it is very cold.
